History of PDS

PDS was founded in 1990 to offer vendors an alternate means of distribution to retailers. Our goal was to provide these vendors with a single point of distribution which could incorporate warehousing, cross-docking, packaging and multi-vendor freight consolidation into their supply chain.

The industry has changed and evolved since 1990. Through all these changes PDS has remained an industry leader in providing truly cost effective distribution programs that assist vendors who often compete for market with much larger companies who consistently ship truckload volume.

	Founded in February 1990. Our first facility was 10,000 SF

	1992-Facility expands to 32,000 SF

	1994-Remote locations of 55,000 and 10,000 SF are added to accommodate new business

	1995 LTL consolidation was offered to all Sam's locations from a new 105,000 SF

	1996 Expand to 155,000 SF

	1997 Expanded to 165,000 SF

	2000 Expanded to 340,000 SF facility

	2001 Beginning of consolidation for Wal-Mart grocery suppliers

	2003 Indianapolis facility expanded to 485,000 SF

	2005 Acquired additional Indianapolis facility of 270,000 SF

	2006 Opened Mesquite, TX and Stockton, CA facilities

	2006 Added an additional 250,000 SF in Indianapolis

	2008/2009 Combined all Indianapolis facilities into a 1,200,000 facility in Plainfield, IN

	2010 Added 155,000 SF in Atlanta, GA
